Serious question. How did she get up there? I realize she was stagemanaged but even Paltrow had to do the deed with him as well as JLaw....

I first heard about her with Room, which I didn't like the sound of at the time and have yet to catch. But, according to Wikipedia, this film had nothing to do with Weinstein.

I've heard Gwyneth Paltrow tell the story of how Weinstein tried to take advantage and her boyfriend of the time, a certain Brad Pitt, stormed in a threatened to kill him if he tried again. So why do you so casually say otherwise?

Weinstein was powerful, but not all powerful.

I think an actor could rise up through the ranks without banging the guy. She wouldn't have been the first to do it.
