Cate blanchett should have won best actress this year

Cate would have been 4th in my mind. In fact make it 5th. Cate Blanchett is the most overrated trash on the planet.

Sorry, not sorry. She was good in Blue Jasmine and that's about it.

Everything else, hugely overrated and Carol as a whole was the most overrated trite ever.

Cate's a fantastic actress and I adore her- but I think Brie was more deserving. If you compare Carol and Ma's characters, the latter was a much more difficult role and Brie nailed it. Cate was definetly a close second though. That's my opinion, anyway.

You're wrong, Brie deserved it, great movie

Cate has deserved oscars for many roles she didn't get. She is an amazing actress and has raw talent, however Brie deserved it. She is amazing and I think I am in love.

Brie actually won the lion's share of "Best Actress" awards this year, altho I didn't see her flick. Cate has already won twice, and can certainly wait a while to win again, I would think.
