He's got balls for calling a spade a spade...
...and taking present-day Spielberg to task. Although a career-limiting move to insinuate no doubt, Spielberg is indeed a shell of what he used to be.

shareHe complains about Spielberg (and the films he's done with him) him being less of a director and more of a company and I was struggling to think of which actual films he'd made with Spielberg. Crystal Skull being the only one he's worked on with Spielberg as director. As for the Transformers movies, of course Spielberg is the company version of himself and he was a producer on those. They're Michael Bay movies.
Granted though, Crystal Skull wasn't Spielberg firing on all cylinders. That movie was a fan wish (prior to the end result being seen) that had a release date to be shot. Not to denigrate the hundreds of craftmen and women who worked on the film but that KOTCS looked like a job that just had to be seen through and finished without too much fuss. It has its moments...but not many. Le Beef shouldn't shoulder the burden of its failure. His character was just one of the ingredients that was 'off' or mis-handled on that picture. John Hurt, Karen Allen and Ray Winstone's characters were also fumbled.
Shia LaBeouf & Steven Spielberg are both very true to the Zionist agenda. Both have huge love for Israel. Both amazing Ashkenazi Jews. Ashkenazi Jews are the absolute purest form of Jews around. They are the elite.
shareA few years ago, I read an anonymous film crew person (art design or something similar) saying they were completely surprised when they worked with Spielberg because he *was* like a business — every incidental detail is done to make money, not for the love of the art.
I regret never bookmarking where I read that (and take it with a grain of salt), but this is the third time I've read someone speaking an interesting (if obvious) truth about Spielberg.
I can't quite imagine Spielberg "winging it" or grabbing the camera and improvising. He figured it out and became a machine. In case no one's noticed, he's a producer more than a director. When acting as director, he's simply producing a movie without relying on some indentured, contractual director.
I personally have no issues with it.
I find most of what he produced and directed in the last 25 years to be a far, far cry from his most fertile period... 1975 to 1995 with the odd dud here and there. He has directed some real junk in recent years such as "Terminal", "KOTCS", and the animated crap. His name is simply a trademark now. Nothing more.
Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks have been awesome over the years...but stop pairing them up please. Ugh.
He might be right but he isn't 1/10 as talented as Spielberg...Spielberg has done some great work....sure, not everything he does is for the art.... He's got a commercial side for sure.
shareWhat are you talking about? Was anyone mentioning ANYTHING about Israel?
Kay: Senators and presidents don't have men killed.
Michael: Oh, who's being naive, Kay?
