Great in Westworld!

Her scene with Anthony Hopkins in the restaurant one of the best tension filled scenes in this show. He's obviously mesmerizing and menacing but she wonderfully held her own by showing cracks in her demeanor with such control. A great show for actors.

I think her accent is incredibly distracting in it..

You know what the Queen said? If I had balls, I'd be King.

Haha...her accent gets to me as well. I'm surprised to see somebody else post about it. Usually all the posts are how great the actors are...like the OP.

I'm still trying to figure out whether she is supposed to be American, but is lousy at speaking with an American accent.

Then again, I'm only on the second episode so maybe they address it later.

She IS supposed to be Danish in the series as well :-)

completely agree.

Really? Dolores goes in and out of the fakest southern accent, and her's is the one distracting you?

reply

I'm not bothered by her accent at all, I think she's a marvelous actress and I hope she's not permanently off the show!

She IS supposed to be Danish in the series as well :-)True, yet she has an incredibly un-Danish name. Theresa Cullen??

I think her character is a bit overly cynical (they're kind of of spoonfeeding it to us) but the restaurant scene was indeed very memorable and creepy and she was very good in it.
