Why no posts for this prolific creator?
Given that Jack Kirby's creations are just about all of the building blocks of the Marvel Universe, why hasn't anyone posted at the message board devoted to him to discuss his work?
shareI loved and hated about equal amounts of his work. I was a big Kamandi fan and devoured Fantastic Four and Thor. I grabbed Machine Man #1 off the 7-11 wire rack (and ran it to my mom begging). I never liked his New Gods and Apocalypse stuff.
The only artist who I think comes close to his style is Walt Simonson.
I did like the New Gods, but I'm sorry the series was cut short before Kirby could bring it to a definite conclusion as he had planned. Agree that his FF & Thor were absolute magic. :)
