I've seen a few of her movies. And I have to say she is awful.

Thank God, I thought I was the only one who thought she was terrible! I just saw My Bloody Valentine, and the movie was okay, so far as mindless slasher flicks go, but man it was really hard to focus on anything other than her tremendously bad acting.

Everyone's acting is horrible in that, that's half the joke (don't ask me what the other half is).

Yeah... Not a very good actress. The worst I've seen of her was in 'Bulletproof Monk'. She's horrible in that movie. But again, the movie kinda blows.
Although, from I've seen from clips and trailer she looks decent in 'Mother's Day'.

Jamie King is an amazing actress. Better than most. Watch one episode of "Hart of Dixie". She is worthy of many awards. Incredible ... and super drop-dead gorgeous on top of it. Love her ... can't take my eyes off her and love her unpredictability and vulnerability. She gives 100% to every single moment on camera. Stunning ...

Yes she is good looking, or should we say one of the prettiest actresses out there. And, just like a few other incredibly pretty actresses, she actually can act much better than many of her more popular and better paid colleagues.
Watch her in Perl Harbor and see how she compares to other actresses. Her perfomance was way better, and more believable than any other one.
So, no, she is exact opposite from a "terrible actress". If I were making a film and needed a drop dead gorgeous star in it, I would think of Jamie King first.
She reminds me a lot of Cameron Diaz when she first appeared in "The Mask". Diaz just stepped from a catwalk straight onto a film set, and performed marvelously. Immediately, there were jealous types who pronounced her just a pretty face, and they still do that to this day, but Cameron can act, her beauty notwithstanding.
