Almost Cross-Eyed?

Does anyone else agree that the man looks almost cross-eyed but not quite there?

I'll agree. Sometimes he looks very retarded with that stupid grin on his face.

I don't think "almost" is the correct word. I would say that he is cross-eyed.

I used to date a girl who from a distance looked normal, but when she focused on things close up, she went cross-eyed.

Jimmy cross-eyedness looks far worse than hers was in that his is noticeable, whereas hers was only noticeable if she was looking at you from 1-2 feet away.
