Why? I think that they've been going out for a long time. Or atleast they have known each other for a long time. Amanda and Taran have been friends since she was 13, and now shes 17. So they have had a long time to start a relationship. And I think that they look good together. It's better than her being with some snobby boyfriend. Like Hilary Duff, I feel sorry for Hil.

Then Amanda went with Nick Zano.
Now she's single again.
