I'm DISGUSTED by Aamir...(related to SRK comments)

I've been a long time fan of Aamir and have always thought of him as being the Best Khan when it comes to acting. But I recently read what he wrote on his blog - he's got a dog named Shah Rukh Khan?!

Quote Aamir Khan - "Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?"

I dont understand what's happening to Aamir. First he says that SRK is no. 2, and now he's stooped to comparing him to a dog (effectively). It's very unAamirish, and it's a shame that he's finally gone Commercial just like everyone else....

Havings said that though, even though SRK has a very crude (and sometimes rude) sense of humour, I don't think even he would say a statement like Aamir has just written.

Why is Aamir Khan trying to be someone he naturally isn't?! It isn't working and he's gonna lose not just a huge fanbase but a huge lot of respect if he doesn't change his ways!

no one else agrees?

lol, no one interested in my views?

Hun i can't believe he said that, i mean he is one of my favorite actors.

@ the OP..

lol... take it easy.
It was meant to be a joke. i'm sure he recieved a text telling him he's a midget squirrel.

I think both are great actors, but this "joke" is being publicised way too much. Shahrukh or Hrithik or Salman have made similar remarks.. it's nothing new. just ................. the celebrity way. I mean I know I'm gonna get a lot of flak for this, but face it. All these guys are on top; whether you like one as a better actor, or a better person doesn't make a difference. They ARE celebrities at the end of the day; and when you have power, you corrupt that power in your own way.

Maybe I'm being wayyyy too cynical about the overall "celebrity"; but think about it.. you don't know him any better than what his films show him to be. Or what his website or public image has shown him to be. We as the audience, as the public don't know these people and no matter how stupid remarks the put up, one should keep in mind that ... you know ... they're like all of us. How often have we been cocky in life? It's a universal trait in all of us. And nothing to get worked up about.

Peace out !!

Joke??? Jokes are suppose to be funny! Who actually found that funny? I mean, it's natural for good friends to kid around, but there is a limit. I make fun of my friends sometimes and in return they do the same, but I would be so PISSED if someone said they named their dog after me & made such stupid comments regarding it like I'm "eating biscuits, licking, etc." I think Aamir is a good actor, but there are many times where I just can't stand him off-screen.

But he's an actor. What if even what he is doing off-screen... is just an act?

`Push your luck enough, And it will start to push back`

reply

Yeah but isnt a comparison of a colleague to a dog taking it a bit too far. especially if ur then feeding that dog biscuits and it's licking your feet...

Stop behaving like a fool. Read the whole blog itself and put the comments in context and you'll find that it wasn't Aamir who named the dog SRK. And once that is established I don't think anything that follows can be considered offensive. Only sensitive little nancies would find such things insulting.
