Best Indian Actor of this Generation

This guy has done some of the all time most amazing movies in bollywood.

Starting with his first movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Dil, Lagaan, Dil Chata Hai, Rang De Basanti, Fanaa, Ghajini, Taare Zameen Par, 3 Idiots, etc...

The man is revolutionary in his acting.

Now, I know Shahrukh Khan is a great actor, but hes a commercial star of stars. Aamir Khan is the best ACTOR in the bollywood business.

I had serious doubts about Aamir's ability to carry off the 3 I role--but he did , and how effortlessly.

Watching the film, I simply forgot that 'Rancho' is actually a 44 yr old father of a sixteen yr old. His look, the body language, his clothes, his dialogue delivery--everything went with the character. In promos he seemed to be too wide eyed--but when I watched the film, it all came together--the wide-eyed innocence and simplicity of a pahadi or hill boy (which is what his character is)--it all came through. Love the way he makes his entrance, wordlessly, and continues to silently do his bit through the opening scene--giving his senior tormenter a shock, literally and figuratively.

Watch him in the scene where he goes around the hospital distributing sweets.

He was perfect in every scene--but I particularly liked him in the zoobi-doobi song sequence.

Loved Aamir all the way up to last scene--where he looks so handsome, spectacled, smiling, laughing....

Every actor, big or small, performed well in 3i.

My fav Aamir film and performance however--remains--Safarosh.

Aamir is among the best of his genertion for sure.

Aamir is definately the best Actor among the current top Stars/Actors. Also, Aamir is the most bankable and the biggest star at Boxoffice. From RDB till 3 Idiots, he is currently on a Blockbuster spree with 5 back to back HUGE hits and also a never seen before, 2 back to back All Time Blockbusters.

My favorite scene from 3 Idiots is the time when they show Aamir smiling in the first class. The way he was smiling and moving his head from this side to that was damn cute.

I am decent man in an Indecent time

Shah Rukh is the most overrated actor on the planet.

Things are suddenly switching.

SRK used to be the most overrated actor, Aamir is now the most overrated actor...

Aamir used to be the dedicated actor, now SRK is becoming more of a dedicated actor.

I'll admit I'm a bigger fan of srk than aamir, but I still love aamir's movies, especially Rang De Basanti, Lagaan and 3 idiots....

But.... Man his acting has become so rubbish recently. 3 idiots was a wicked movie but not because of aamir khan. Even Akshay Kumar could have done the role justice (think about it).

Aamir's last good performance was in Rang De Basanti, when he started crying in front of Sue after Madhavan died.

The guy had a few good stints here and there in movies, but in all honesty, he's also become commercial.

SRK's best performances (acting wise) are Darr, Dil Se, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, and Swades. I just caught My Name is Khan at a special preview screening. Be prepared guys, his performance is intense!

IMO (you dont have to agree with me) when SRK hits the jackpot with his acting he surpasses everyone. Just watch the last 20 minutes of Dil Se.

Anyway, I dont really rate SRK and Aamir as top actors in this day and age.

The best around is Hrithik. Don't believe me? Watch Lakshya and then eat your words.

I am sorry--but I have to totally disagree with you. Aamir was pitch perfect in his 3 idiots role.He dared to do this role, did it and did it well.

Aamir is an understated actor. If you don't get his performance, you don't get it.

And as for Akshay Kumar doing Aamir's role--well he would have done it his own way--but frankly he wouldn't even touch the film or the role, considering the sort of stuff he has ben doing.

Aamir took a great risk in doing the 3 i role--but he did it, did it well and i applaud him for it.

His critics can trash him on every possible forum including his own imdb page--but at the end of the day aamir will be remembered for many roles--Ajay singh Rathod, Bhuvan, DJ, Munna,Siddharth Marathe, The TZP teacher--and Rancho-Phansuk Wangdu---looking absolutely adorable throughout the film right up to the last shot. 3 Idiots has won a lot of laurels--and some credit goes to Aamir Khan. Absolutely no doubt about it.

Aamir is an actor, not just a star. Whenever I watch one of his films, I see a character, not Aamir Khan. (As opposed to SRK, who is always, whoever he is playing, SRK. He is cute and all, but not a great actor).

Aamir was really good, for example, in Ghajini (even though it's not his best film), when he was playing the wooing scenes with Asin. Who could have done that proposal scene on the bus so well? So low-key and simple? All the other actors would have overacted in that role.

As for 3 Idiots, he was really cute, but sometimes during the film I wanted to shout at him: don't overact, please, don't! But I guess it was OK in a way as it was a comedy, and I think Aamir wanted to overemphasize some mannerisms in order to be believable as a 22-year-old.

Did you actually say Hritik Roshan is the best actor?

Are you a 13 year old girl?
