Criminal Minds Spinoff

For those of you that don't read the articles offered up on this site....here you go....

"The Sopranos" actor Michael Kelly has been snagged for the CBS spinoff of "Criminal Minds," which has already cast Forest Whitaker too. The spinoff focuses on a new group of profilers who work outside the FBI red tape. Oooh, rogue profilers. (from Zapzit.com)

I watch this show sometimes, pretty good. Perhaps they will have as much spinoff success and the L&O shows have - I will definitely watch just based on MK being in it - although Forest Whitaker's acting style drives me nuts for some reason...

I swore off CBS 2 years ago when they canceled Jericho.

I am willing to come back for Michael Kelly. I hope this happens!

You said it !! ; )

Do you have a fave character he has portrayed? George in Loggerheads is a fave of mine as is his character in Defendor. There is not much I have seen him in that I don't like though...

Anyway, I will hope that the spinoff happens and I will hope it is better than the original has become. They just cut one of my fave characters and I'm rather pissy about it...

I stopped watching the original when Mandy Patinkin left.

CJ in Dawn of the Dead is definitely my favorite Michael Kelly character.

I agree CJ was such a badass! And totally hot!

As far as the new spinoff...I'm looking forward to it. Michael Kelly and Forest Whitaker. Go CBS!

he left for a stupid ass reason though. he left because he didnt want to be part of a show where people can be entertained by blood, murder, violence, etc

I just want to congratulate Michael on his success. He was a couple years ahead of me at Coastal Carolina but I saw his work there and am thrilled to see a CCU theatre student doing so well. Best wishes on a long and fulfilling career! When I saw the name I had to see if it was THE Michael Kelly from CCU and sure enough...you know Sandi and the rest of those great professors we had are so proud! Keep up the great work!
