She got an Emmy nomination!
Now THAT'S the funniest (and saddest) thing I've read of in a very long time.

shareWhat??? You must be deaf and blind! She is the funniest comedian! Do strong black women threaten you?
shareShe is a one-trick pony. Has one act. No range. Thus not Emmy material in my opinion. This is a variety sketch show. Usually means variety in ones' skills is needed.
It's why many others like her in the past on this show did not get an Emmy nom. Some did, and I thought those did not deserve nominations either.
I disagree with Baldwin's and McCarthy's nominations too. Very funny, but one act.
If you like her, it's fine. I respect that. But the Emmy's, Grammy's and Oscars have long forgotten how to reward the best talent.
Who would you wish were nominated?
shareI find her pretty entertaining
Good for her imo
She blows a line in almost every scene she's in. That is not a talented person, particularly for live television.
shareI guess 'difference of opinion' applies here
No worries -thx Burk
I get you may like her,and that's fine, but if you watch the show you can't deny that she blows a line in almost every scene she's in. To me,it's hard to say that translates to a good, live performer. She wasn't the worst thing in Ghostbusters,so maybe a few attempts at delivery are needed. But unless you LIKE seeing someone screw up lines,I can't see how she can be considered an asset to the show.
