This got me interested to refresh my memory and check out his Wiki page. Interesting Wiki refers to him as, of course, a cult-leader, but also, a mass-murderer. Something I didn't remember from this story, which occurred during my childhood, was that followers who refused to drink the "flavor Aid" were injected with cyanide instead, at Jones' orders.
