Had Maitland Ward model lingerie for Boy Meets World

Maitland Ward said in an interview that Michael Jacobs and other Boy Meets World producers (who worked for Disney) often sexualized her on the series. Her character was the only one who consistently took off her clothes.

For one episode where her character danced around in skimpy underwear in front of Corey and Shawn (to ironically prove men are pigs), Jacobs and other producers had her model different types of lingerie in their office so they could decide if it “showed too much or not nearly enough to get the boys excited.”

They had her strip off her clothes and change behind a curtain so thin they could see the silhouette of her naked body. At one point, Ward said Jacobs acted embarrassed and told her he thought of her as his daughter. Then had her model more lingerie.

I’m wondering if Jacobs and the others wished they could do the same with Danielle Fishel.
