Gervais, absolutely without doubt. His radio shows with Steve and Karl are timeless.

This exactly. If RG had never even done The Office or Extras, I'd still say him because of the radio show.

I've been watching Eddie Izzard stand-up gigs this past week. I love his command of historical material. It's not hilarious but very intriguing nevertheless. And I loved him in Valkyrie.

Izzard hasn't been funny for a while. Plus, he's a raging wokist.

My only disagreement with you is that I don’t think he was ever really that funny.
