How in the hell did they come up with casting topher grace as venom?! When thinking about it all of twenty seconds I thought of the guy from remember the titans and came here. But anyone really would be better than topher.

That's true. In the comic book Venom was a big guy and kind of rough, Touphy Grace is a lousy venom. He would make a good spider-man, if Tobey Maguire left.
i personally think henry rollins would have been the best choice for venom! i think he has always looked like eddie brock! they should have also made elton john be dr octopus. thats just my opinion though! maybe carrot top for carnage?
shareI think Topher Grace did an excellent acting job...but he just didn't have the bulk or ferocity for Venom. A few minutes ago I was just thinking "you know, that guy from Remember the Titans would've been a lot better" and then look here's a thread full of people who agree!
