That was pretty frigging sad...and it was just shaving a beard. One of my favorite characters recently on TV.

Thanks so much for posting that!! Cried like a baby :( So sad this character is gone and can't even imagine how hard it must be for Ryan to have to let him go...

I can think of a great many other characters on that show whom I wish had taken his place in that scene.

wow, that was sad. Opie was one of my all time favorite characters from TV/movie. I never thought I'd get emotional like that.

I'm only on season 1 (I know super late to the game) but someone already spoiled his demise for me. I've only seen like 10 episodes and Opie is hands down my favorite.

Found it on YouTube today and cried. Never thought I'd get attached to a character like that. Poor Opie is the most tragic character I think I have ever seen. Poor guy. Should have been someone else! Would have loved to see him make it to the end.
