The British Taylor Kitsch?

Does anyone else see some similarities with Charlie Hunnam and Taylor Kitsch. Both actors were leads in poplar television shows then around once it ended, they started getting lead roles in major Hollywood films, and studios were pushing them. Hollywood was pushing Taylor Kitsch to be the next big thing as it seemed like it came from nowhere, but with a few big budget flops, his career went downhill fast and he's no longer a leading man in Hollywood movies.

Yes Charlie Hunnam had 1 hit with Pacific Rim but asides from that, everything else he has starred in recently has flopped. Is he unfortunately following in Taylor Kitsch's path? Does he need a new agent? Should he stick with independent films and not strive in being a big movie star?
