Papillon remake - Oh Heck yeah!

Charlie is rumored to star in the 1973 remake of the movie Papillon. Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman starred in the original, which was a fantastic movie. Both McQueen and Hoffman were stellar in it. It's a great story, ripe for a remake, in my opinion. I'm not one of those that feels that the original will be diminished in any way, by a remake.

Charlie has often reminded me of McQueen in his intensity. It will be interesting to see what he does with this role, if the rumors are true.

I hope its true. I'm glad more projects are coming his way, to replace those that have fallen off of his future project's list.

I think Charlie would be good in it. He certainly looks right for the part.

He can play King Arthur without a lot of flack, but I bet the trolls will be out if he plays Papillon. LOL.
