Played "Leon" on the Andy Griffith Show...

And today he was killed off the "Bold and the Beautiful." Not exactly sure how:

Hi: Not a very good outlook going forward, with these results.
There are a bunch of things you can blame it on. For example I never felt good about Pa since trump got shot there. Or Mi since their Islamic population said they wouldn't vote Dem due to the Gaza massacre.
I also saw Ted Koppel (remember him?) interviewing people at the Wis State Fair (in Aug) and they seemed unusually bitter.
And if you've paid any attention to what I've said about Harris you likely would remember that I don't have any confidence in her. Her people prob' knew she'd be asked about her role (if any) in Biden's drop out of race, so they tried to keep her away from questions being asked. Which seemed to have left her 'walking around with that big smile' and acting more like a celebrity than a Pres' candidate. I don't think it played well.

Biden's job rating was dismal and any Dem was going to have trouble. Like I've said many times during the last few years the Party had to get Joe out of the '24 race sometime in the fall of 23 like around Thanksgiving. Then have the normal Win-Spring primary competition which Harris would not win. That was a big problem with Blacks saying it should have been handed to her and threatening to not support the nom (someone like Warner, Buttegig, Ca Gov).
Biden never should have picked Harris for his VP given he was too old and probably wouldn't finish his first term strong without problems.
No matter how bad trump is, voters associate him with success even if it isn't warranted and Biden's with failure even if it isn't true.

Things aare going to change forever...that's as far as I want to go. Can't imagine what Liz Cheney and George Conway are thinking now. Probably about their safety.

The night before the vote "Frontline" did a docu on Harris/trump and it was pretty damming of Harris. This is PBS doing this produced in Boston. I got worried after seeing it.

I voted at the Senior Center at about 4:40pm and it had almost got dark. Pilgrim HS had something going on with a lot of cars in front. I began to wonder if they had changed the Seniors venue to Pilgrim. Maybe they weren't even voting there I couldn't tell. I supposed it could be another ward. It took me about 25 min's: there was a line of about 12. I wore a black polo shirt (St.Johns Bay) and white Dockers neither of which I had ever put on before (or cosst more than a dollar). They had been in closet for years. I had been in shorts, I probably should have stayed in them. I also somehow lost my "I voted" sticker, something I didn't want in the first place but I had no choice. Lady put a loose one on my ballot/folder without asking.
