Who else here thinks he would play a great Lestat? So far the only film I've seen him in is 'A Single Man', so I cannot say if he has the skills to portray a vampire but he definitely has the cold, clear blue eyes that Anne Rice describes in her book. If they were to re-adapt 'Queen of the Damned' or make a film of 'The Vampire Lestat' he would be on the top of my list of auditions.

Lestat was blond and modeled after Rutger Hauer, so no, I don't think he'd be the right one for the role. But then again, the previous casting attempts were pretty horrible.

shareI thought cruise was amazing and so did rice but what does she know lol. She did hate it at first and bashed the cruise casting but afterwards she felt the need to write a page in the news paper apologizing so impressed by the cruise..
