Hitler took public speaking lessons from the Jewish (yes, you read that right) hypnotist, occultist, and astrologer Erik Jan Hanussen early in his rule. Hanussen was quite close to Hitler and "predicted" the Reichstag Fire of February 27, 1933. More likely he had inside foreknowledge of the event. Shortly after the fire (on March 25, 1933), Haunssen was murdered, likely on the orders of Hermann Göring and/or Joseph Goebbels, who resented both his influence over Hitler and his Judaism.
