Bates Motel Parody featuring Freddie Highmore

I came across this hilarious Bates Motel parody featuring Freddie Highmore, Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin. Freddie shows off a more comedic side by making fun of himself, as well as the Bates Motel/Psycho franchise. Check it out:

I was just coming here to post this. Super funny. His Spanish is really good too!

Haha, yeah! This video shows Freddie can do just about anything and not just dramatic roles.

Yes, his Spanish is good. He was able to visit Latin America to promote the show and speak Spanish to reporters and fans. I think in this parody however he was talking with a "forced" Spanish accent since he was making fun of himself. It's obvious when he says "gracias" at the beginning.

Oh my goodness that was fantastic!!!!!

I'm so glad I looked way back to find this. That was fun, funny!

BTW SVU I wouldn't call it a "forced" Spanish accent. I looked for his Spanish language interviews on YouTube and his accent is normal for where he's from. As an English actor, he must've learned to speak Castilian Spanish in Europe from European (Spaniard) teachers, not Latin American Spanish. I guess that can appear to be a more pronounced (ie forceful) syntax to non-Europeans. The shwishy (sh) "s" and the "ceceo" (words with "z" and "ce" and "ci" pronounced as "th" as in "that" instead as the same as any "s") he handles like a native speaker. He speaks European Spanish quite beautifully! And good for him. His French is just as flawless! Like so many European actors, he should have no problem working extensively outside of Hollywood, thereby attaining a richer and more extensive career than those stuck in American English only-land. I wish him a bright and successful future in whatever he endeavors. I think he's not only a great linguist, but a fine and talented actor with broad scope. It's almost a shame he states he won't continue acting into adulthood, although at currently aged 22 now, I think it's fair to say he is acting as an adult (even if he's still playing a high school teen).

From this French interview alone, it's obvious he's been speaking French since he was very young - he's way to comfortable pronouncing (yes) "oui" as "weh" and (maybe) "peut-être" like a native speaker, not a casual learner.
C'est vraiment fantastique!

It must be such fun on the set of Bates Motel! So many multilingual co-stars.

Thanks to the original poster for adding this the board!

I love this video. Freddie is very funny for a guy who speaks 24 languages.

Of course this is a publicity stunt. And quite funny at that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjzM1xnQLPA

What if my problem isn't that I don't understand people but that I don't like them?
