I have Aspergers, and this guy plays it perfectly

Seeing his acting on Bates Motel, he's gotta have Asperger's in real life. Because the character he plays has Asperger's, and there's no way someone could pretend to have Asperger's as well as he does it.

Great acting. :)

Norman bates- Apparently, The Whore is calling.

He is a great actor...

People that don't have aspergers can be very good at pretending. Better than you can imagine.

He has Asperger's in Bates Motel? That's news. Also acting, check it out. You know that nobody was actually killed in the show, right? They were just pretending?

Max Burkholder. Case closed.
But yeah, I don't recall him being an Aspie in the series.

reply

Norman doesn't have Asperger's, he's too high functioning.

Sheldon from "The Big Bang Theory" is a better example of someone with Asperger's, although that is more of a caricature.

There's another movie with Josh Hartnett about people with Asperger's called Mozart and the Whale.

But I wouldn't categorize Norman as having Asperger's. Is he shy and introverted? Absolutely, but there's more to Asperger's than that.

reply

Does he have Aspergers? I was thinking it was antisocial personality disorder/psychopathy... Isn't that closer to the black out killer with little to no emotion during his episodes? (I'm genuinely asking, I'm versed in abnormal psychology in regards to things like psychopathy, but not autism)

reply

Who the F... is Asperger?

What if my problem isn't that I don't understand people but that I don't like them?
