What WAS the lead story tonight? The Cardiff riots? I happen to live in Cardiff, in fact I was born there, and I'm wondering why the riots happened, although I'm not too surprised as the district of Ely is where they happened, and that part has always been rough. However, I know people who live there, so I'm concerned for their safety.
I believe it was. I must admit, I didn't watch the news. I could hear it through my neighbour's walls, and the Rolf Harris story was about halfway through the BBC 10 o'clock news programme. Clive Myrie talked about it for about 15 or so seconds.
I think Suella Braverman's speeding fine, and a new line of enquiry into Madeleine McCann's disappearance, were also among the main stories.
