Dexter Season 5 wig?

I just started season 5 (yeah I'm behind), I thought he looked like he's wearing a wig, his hair just looked really different

Maybe cuz he had cancer idk

Yeah that's the year he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's he had chemo. Scary poor guy. But he made it.

Yes, he lost his hair to chemotherapy. He says flat out that he had to wear the wig for season 5. When people lose hair like that, it frequently grows back differently. His looked thinner, curlier and darker after his cancer treatments.

When he won the golden globe he wore a knit cap to cover his bald head.
