Jennifer Carpenter tears up about her divorce with Michael C. Hall
I know some people have been looking for it but couldn't find it, so here it is:

shareWell that was awkward. They handled it very well but I wish they had stayed married. It seems like Jennifer Carpenter is still quite hung up on it but MCH doesn't seem to be as effected. I wonder if they really meant what they said.
shareShouldn't have even answered it
shareShe says 'just because the marriage stopped doesn't mean the love stopped'. I think she loves him but he didn't feel the same. Poor Jennifer.
shareI wouldn't say celebrity marriages are harder. All marriages are hard - it's work. As for celebrity marriages, I think the vast majority (maybe not this particular couple, but a huge percentage) consider it a trendy thing to marry and then divorce. It's a game of Musical Chairs for many of them. Who can advance their career? Who can turn them into a superstar couple? Who would be good arm candy for magazine covers? Piecrust promises - easily made, easily broken.
However, at a guess, I would assume that this particular marriage failed because of the stress of a cancer diagnosis while they were still in their newlywed stage. That would be stressful for anyone, but those first few years of marriage are hard even at the best of times.
They're only in the public eye as much as they want to be. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have been married for over a decade and they're never in the media because they value their privacy. Same with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, etc.
Hollywood doesn't make marriage hard - narcissistic personalities do.
