For me it's a tie between Rorschach from Watchmen, and Ronnie McGorvey from Little Children.

I liked him as Dave in "Losin' It", he definitely added a lot to his performance in that film.

Probably Breaking Away, although he is amusing in Day of the Locust too.

While it was nice that he had this amazing mid-2000s comeback, I didn't see what others did in his performance in the lousy Little Children. He has an odd, unsettling look about him and the acclaim for that performance was based more on looking the part than on anything memorable about his acting.

He was a gifted, if kinda funny-looking, kid actor, though!
