I thought her Texas accent in "The Rookie" was quite good, having been married to a woman who grew up in that state:) --

lol, she is pretty excelent at accents ill agree, im australian like her, and i've heard her in 'brothers and sisters' and its amazing.
shareNot so in Jude. I have no idea what kind of accent she is trying to create in that movie. It just doesn't work.
shareShe also managed to nail the very specific Yorkshire accent in Blow Dry - even Alan Rickman had trouble with that one. (The less said about Josh Hartnett, the better, but suffice it to say if you're from the north of England and want to laugh til you cry, rent it.) She was spot on, I was convinced she was English for ages after that!
shareAustralians and the British are exposed to alot of cultures particularly on TV so yeah accents come naturally to us
