I can't think of anyone better, that smooth voice soothing us with his immortal ballad.

While I don't think he's the "greatest singer in history" (Let alone country music... guys like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Hank Williams Sr. & Jr., et.al.), I love his voice and music. I loved his song "Dixie Road" that was a big hit for him back in the 80s, plus I love his renditions of "American Patriotic Music" also. He's a great singer.
