Director making progressively weaker movies

George Washington was great, All the Real Girls and Undertow were good-very good followups (how do you follow a debut like that?), Snow Angels showed the wheels falling off a bit, Pineapple Express was a huge "HOLY *beep* this guy made George Washington?" moment. It's too bad because he showed a lot of promise, but it looks like the creative juices are gone. DGG if you read this stop making *beep* movies and get far away from the Apatow crew and back to the elitist making fun of Kevin Smith type that your early fanbase loved.

Um, actually, my lip, that's a cold sore. And I've never had a cold sore before, so I cried.

Dude, a cold sore? Does that mean like... herpes?

Yes, that's what it means. I have herpes

Yep, it's true. He's sterile. He will never have the chance to sire a young'un from his own seed again. What a waste.

I really like Snow Angels but Your Highness was absolutely awful. I've also heard good things about George Washington and bad things about The Sitter.

We'll have to see how that Suspiria remake goes.

'Snow Angels' had its moments, and is entirely different than the garbage he's been making since it.
'All the Real Girls' is the only one I'd recommend to anybody.

I agree. What the hell happened to him? On the George Washington commentary he was highly critical of movies like the ones he makes now, ie. formulaic hollywood trash with cheesy hip-hop soundtracks. After I saw George Washington, I thought he had so much potential. The Sitter was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
