Career's in a nose-dive

What's the deal?

He went from being the most exciting American director since Mallick to being a pu**y-hair away from making Brett Ratner look like an artist.

Seriously, professors in film programs still show George Washington to demonstrate a mastery of both aesthetics as well as narrative form. I myself wrote a paper on it in second-year film studies.

Your Highness? The Sitter? What the *beep* are you doing to your career?! It's painful to watch - like seeing Picasso hawk paint-by-number kits on QVC.

I'm really, really not trying to be cruel; as a fan who shook his head in disbelief at the genius of your early work, it's just a crying damn-ass shame to see this decline.

Snap out of it.

Hey, the man's gotta eat. Looks like with Suspiria and Joe that he's starting to go back to the movies that he's maybe a little more passionate about.

Remaking Suspiria is the dumbest idea since Gus Van Sandt's Psycho.

"Aw Dammit! Hot Bitches!"

I truly hope the Suspiria remake tanks in the BO and also critically, killing DGG's career forever.

My top 5 favorite directors: Kurosawa, Spielberg, Jeunet, Argento, and Gilliam.

And Prince Avalanche looks like he's splitting the difference between his character dramas and his stoner comedies. He's definitely bi-polar as a director - and I have to admit to getting a ton of guilty pleasure out of Your Highness - but the dude's not packed away yet.

He is making money to finance his future projects. Prince Avalanche is great.

Anton Chigurh is dead and Spider-Man 3 is superior in every way to Funny Games.
