Same thoughts. He showed promise in his earlier works, but what he's doing now is at the opposite end of the spectrum of what he did with GW and Undertow etc. You would probably never know that the director of Sitter was capable of such human movies.

An extreme case of money polluting the soul of an artist. It's one thing to do the occasional studio film to make a good living and to afford the freedom to do interesting smaller films but this is just ridiculous.

Yeah I can't believe how this guy has gone. I actually enjoyed The Sitter but can't believe its the same guy.

He's making those movies to make money that can then be put to use for things like Prince Avalanche, which is great.
