I'm guessing she was Linda Evans' counterpart on "Dallas"?
I never watched "Dallas" in the 80's - but I loved "Dynasty".
Or was Linda Gray "Alexis"?

She played SueEllen, JR’s (the main bad guy) wife. SueEllen was an unhappy character who suffered from alcoholism. She later divorced JR and married a wealthy rodeo cowboy.
shareInteresting. On "Dynasty", Crystal, the Linda Evans character, was always a beautiful white knight. She was ridiculously good while Joan Collins' character Alexis was ridiculously evil.
It sounds like Sue Ellen was a flawed character unlike Crystal.
She was kind of a tragic character in the early seasons. A former beauty queen who thought she was getting the Cinderella promise, marrying the crown prince from a rich, powerful Texas family. She ended up with a philandering, evil, power monger who took her for granted. She found her strength later on, fought back, and found true love with Dusty the cowboy who was from another wealthy Texas oil family. I’m not sure how things turned out for her after that because I lost interest in the show. Oh yeah, there was that plot twist when her evil little sister had an affair with her husband, then shot him.
I think Linda Evans’ character was a mix of Sue Ellen and Pam. Pam and Bobby were the romantic center of Dallas, much like Krystal and Carrington (forgot his first name, never was a big fan of Dynasty. Those two were dull as dishwater compared to Pam and Bobby.)
I used to get stoned and watch "Dynasty". It could be hilarious.
I should have explored "Dallas" but I had a lot on my plate.
Yes, Krystal and Blake were boring. However, the Alexis character. She was over the top.
Was there anyone on "Dallas" who matched Alexis?
I’d say JR was the Alexis of Dallas.
shareBut did JR wear fabulous gowns and stiletto heels?
shareHe wore ten gallon hats, 3 piece suits, and shiny cowboy boots.
