You make it sound as if you think casting directors are begging Ms. Grainger to appear in films, and she's just refusing.
But the world doesn't work like that. Roles in films are very prestigious, so there is a lot of competition for them, and they are very hard to come by.
You have to be very talented, or very lucky, or most likely both to even get a look in. I very much doubt that Ms. Grainger's failure to get film roles has anything to do with her being "unconvinced", or her agency not looking hard enough.
For all we know, she and her agency might be trying really hard to get her into films, but just haven't succeeded yet.
But then again, maybe she really doesn't want to appear in films. If so, then that is entirely up to her, of course.
