Renee sang on 'One Life to Live'

I had read, in a couple of articles, that Renee didn't want to sing on "One Life to Live" because she didn't think it was in her character and there are plenty of people on the show who can sing, but she sang on today's episode (Feb 14). I am glad she sang; Renee is a great singer and I can see her in the role of Nala in the "Lion King." She has a powerful voice that is kind of pretty, and I can picture her belting part of "Shadowland." Also, on the show, I was impressed with Catherine Hickland's (Lindsay's) voice.

I thought that Renee was unbelievably talented and enjoyed all of the songs on the show that day, but I must say she really sent chills through me. I didn't know that she could sing and it was a fabulous treat. When someone has a beautiful gift like that it should always be used. I always love to hear Kassie sing but this was truly a joy. I would love to purchase anything she has if I only knew how to get it. This is the first time I have every written in on anything on the internet but I am so impressed that I just had to. She has a new fan for life. I would love to get a copy of her singing that very song. If anyone knows how please e-mail me. I've already tried to see if I could find it. She probably just sang it for the show. I totally enjoyed everyone singing that day and I do know however that their is other talent that wasn't shown in the way of music talent. Someday maybe we'll here them also.

Yes, I hope Renee does release a CD someday, with the song she sang on "One Live," and "Shadowland" from "The Lion King." Most, if not all, of the ladies who sang on the show have done a Broadway show. I have mention before that Renee played Nala on "The Lion King," the girl who plays Marcie was(or is)the lead in "Hairspray," and Catherine is a former Fantine in "Les Miserables." However, I am not sure if the lady who plays Roxie was on Broadway; she may have though.

She is so much better than Kassie DePaiva. Everytime she opens her mouth I want to shoot myself

Oh my gosh! I feel the "exact" same way about Renee's voice. I can't erase either the 2/14 or 6/10 episodes off my DVR for fear that I'll never hear her sing "All is Fair" again. I have been snooping around and I found out that she "does" have an album called Everything But the Kitchen Sink. I don't know what songs are on it but I'd love to find out before I order it.

If you EVER find out that we can get the one she sang on OLTL...PLEASE let me know. I would pay anything to have it on my iPod.

Thanks,
Lynn
