She's in a coma. Her character is being cared for by her parents out of state. If I remember correctly, some white supremacists targeted Christian's apartment using some kind of toxic gas. Chris got away unscathed, but Vangie stayed unconsious.

Is that the last of her, a coma? I lost track. Did they show Antonio going to

visit her in the hospital or anything?

They allude to people (mostly Layla) going to visit her.

Evangeline lapsed into a coma in 2007, after being attacked by a baseball player named Tate Harmon. Tate was a member of a supremacist group called "One Pure People" who also targeted Nora, Adriana, Vince, Talia and Cristian. The later was gassed at his apartment, which was the same attack that caused Evangeline to go into her coma. Cristian did go to visit, asking for her to send him a sign that it was OK to move on, at which point she squeezed his hand.

I wonder if she'll come back to OLTL. Hmmmm???

If they can bring "dead" people back, they can certainly bring back a woman in a coma. lol

her character is now dead..her sister or someone in the family pulled the plug on her off camera last year......

but now she's moved on, and i say good for her...i'd rather watch her on good wife..in fact it's the only time i do watch an eppy if i know that she's going to be on it.......instead of watching her character linger off camera, and all that.....
