Paedophile former pop star recalled to prison

Looks like a good ol' boy! Doesn't say how he breached conditions.

The singer, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was freed in February after serving half his 16-year jail term for sexually abusing three schoolgirls.

His recall comes just over a month since being freed.

Upon release, he was subject to licence conditions including having a GPS tag.

The pop star, 79, was one of the biggest music stars of the 1970s.

He was jailed in 2015 for attempted rape, four counts of indecent assault and one of having sex with a girl under 13.

A Probation Service spokesperson said protecting the public was their "number one priority", adding: "That's why we set tough licence conditions and when offenders breach them, we don't hesitate to return them to custody."

He was trying to access the 'dark web' for child sexaul assault content no doubt.

So I heard.

Seriously, where are all the righteous prisoners who supposedly kill kiddie fuckers in jail? This guy can't be trusted to walk free.

reply

In the USA they separate pedophiles from general population (gen pop) because they are targets, not sure how it is in the UK but I would imagine something similar.

reply

I was just reading a book that involved scenes inside a UK prison, and everyone in the jail described had a private cell. UK prisons might be much physically safer for the prisoners than the overcrowded prisons of the US.

But by whatever means, they need to keep this guy in jail forever.

reply

Obviously, they must all be big Gary Glitter fans, and willing to make an exception in his case.

The best source, as always!

He was reportedly spotted on camera inside a bail hostel where he was 'asking how to avoid detection when web browsing' on a mobile phone
Glitter was 'trying to find The Onion' which is a term for the infamous online realm the Dark Web, used by paedophiles as it is hard to trace

Now Glitter, real name Paul Gadd, will have to face a UK Parole Board hearing to determine if he is fit to be released. The prison recall followed calls for action after publication of a video obtained by The Sun on Sunday in which he says: 'So what do I do next? Let's try and find this Onion.'
