thefutoncritic.com has said that she has been cast in a new fall drama pilot called the Apostles.

THE APOSTLES (FOX) - Jessalyn Gilsig ("Heroes") has landed a role on the drama pilot, about the off-duty lives of cops and their families. She's set as Christine Rydell, an L.A.P.D. lieutenant in internal affairs.

Commitment: Ordered to pilot
Cast: Jessalyn Gilsig (Christine Rydell), Keith Robinson (Preacher), Leslie Hope, Shawn Hatosy (Peter), Yara Martinez (Erin)

Much as i love her as an actress, i hope this doesnt get picked up. She is needed in Heroes and Nip/Tuck. Especially Heroes, her character has loads of potential!

You know I totally agree with you about Heroes and Nip/tuck but they both extremely underuse her. If they could bump her to a regular on Heroes I'd love it and I'd be ok with The APostles not getting picked up. All I want is more for this talented actress.

Well nothings official until FOX's Upfront on Thursday but unfortunatley it sounds like they passed on The Apostles.
