I haven't seen The Holdovers but the 'experts' are predicting that he will indeed get a nomination, though Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer) and Bradley Cooper (Maestro) are the two favorites to win.

Awards are meaningless.

That said, the people nominated seem to enjoy it. He's a great actor. Nice to see him get accolades.
