What's this Feud?

I'm from the U.K. and as such I remember watching Australian soaps such as Neighbours and Home and Away.
I also remember even from back then there was talk of friction between Dieter Brummer (I think I have his last name right) and Melissa.
I can't find out anything about it on the internet. What was that all about? Are they still fighting? Did any of them ever comment on it in Australian tv? Who did the other cast members side with? What did the Australian public think of it? Although we got the shows we never got any of the interviews or documentaries about the actors and as such there relationships behind the scenes are a total mystery.
On another note, whatever happened to the girl who played Finn. I think her name was Tina Thompson.

I think Dieter was a bit of a typical Aussie male & didn't like Mel's ambition, but she could probably be a bit a bitch from what I've heard.

I suppose they just didn't like each other. Mel said they pressured her to make the on-screen relationship work which was hard when you're acting with someone who doesn't like you. I think he also said he wanted to work with the other actors more as well but unfortunately, Shane & Angel were very popular, (I certainly loved them).

I can see both sides TBH.

No idea about Tina, stunning girl as I remember.
