Wow, alot of people don't seem to like her!

I don't really understand why. IMHO, I'd give anyone the benefit of the doubt without knowing them personally.

I've seen her in Hunted, Bag of Bones, Triangle, The Amityville Horror and Alias. I thought her acting was great in all of those. She seems very nice in the interviews I've seen her in. I especially liked to hear about the one where she was working at mcdonalds to help fund raise money. I especially remember watching her in the blooper reels for Alias, and recognizing how much fun her coworkers had with her. They looked like they all really got along. So I don't know if there's something people really have against her. But I think she's pretty, talented, and from what I can see a cool person. I think it'd be awesome to meet her.

She's just an ungrateful *beep* who thinks she's the biggest star in the world. She said she wants Australia to shut up and for everyone to give her respect for all her "amazing" accomplishments when in fact, hardly anyone in the US knows her.

She's most likely known as a very very poor mans Sarah Polley, if anything. Some people in the states might know her as "The girl on that surely to be short-lived Hunted show" or "the wife in that crappy Amityville Horror remake"

She would've been better off staying in Australia to feed her big ego since they all used to like her. Instead she ran away to the US where hardly anyone knows her and she tries to bag millionaires.

"Christ Almighty, it's the Goddamned Watchmen!"

Okay, well I guess I haven't seen anything to show of her ungratefulness. Do you have like any videos or something? I'm curious to see.

reply

Yes, can someone post videos of her supposedly acting stuck-up? I'd like to see for myself.

reply

I have to stick up for Melissa as I have met her several times and she is a lovely person.

Her meltdown was on the set of The Morning Show in Aus, not recorded. If you watched that interview then you can make out the evidence as she isnt asked about H&A once and it states she became a US citizen in 2008, an Australian show would not normally bother with this detail.

Mmmm, so there's no actual proof accept someone's off-screen account?? Nothing like an anti-Australian rant to get ratings up.

And as Aussies do seem to like showing people up for ratings, (Jacintha Saldahna anyone?), I'm firmly on her side at this point.

Well there were lots of witnesses to her meltdown. But I suppose when you've made up your mind about somebody it's hard to change it.

Well said. What makes a talented actor talented is.. Well.... Talent...Not to mention humility. Melissa displays neither . Australian actors get a good and solid start in soap operas, like home and away etc..And should be grateful for their careers.

My problem with our supposed talent is the lack of range. Not to mention the lack of humility our actors display.

I am looking at you Russell, Sam and Nicole who all have the acting range of Keanu Reeves. Not to mention god awful public personas (of late) A great actor and celebrity all actors can learn from is Matt Damon.
