Terrible Actress

I remember her when she was on Home and Away and some other Aussie soaps in the 90's, terrible. Expressionless, predictable and no depth. Just all round ham acting. How in the world she got a go in Hollywood is beyond me but after seeing her performances in some films like Amityville Horror and 30 Days of Night I realized why she only gets crappy B list horror films, that's all she can get. The only descent role she's had was Laura on In Treatment, which was in my opinion average at best. I think her looks are the only reason she still has a film career.

oh, I really rate her. Triangle is the best film I have seen her in so far. She acted that part really well. I remember her in Home and Away, don't remember her being bad in it. Her character was extremely popular. I always liked Isla Fisher better though

Melissa is one of the best actresses in Hollywood. I wouldn't call movies released in theatres worldwide with a budgets 20-30 millions B movies. Amityville was crap I agree but her acting was very good. It's funny how people judge actors because of the budgets. Angelina Jolie makes movies with a huge budgets and she is still weak/average actress. Budget doesn't matter and Hollywood mostly counts on popularity of celebs not how good actors they are, especially with women - just take a look on Megan Fox and tell she's good actress, no way.
