Has anyone read Mark's novel - The Vesuvias Club - What do you think of it?
I only ask cause it doesn't seem to have done very well - I remember seeing loads of copies around after christmas, and now you can get it dirt cheap in discount bookstores.

Get it. It's a fantastic read. I could give a long detailed and pedantic reason why its so good, but that would take up your valuable time- time that could be spent going to the bookstore and buying the book.

I already have - in fact was lucky enough to get a copy personally signed by Mark himself - just haven't got around to reading it yet!
shareIt's fantastic, although I admit I keep only reading up to chapter 4 then putting it down and forgetting about it. Some of the names he's made up for characters are incredibly funny, but unfortunatly I'm sure some of them went over my head completely. I recommend it absolutely.
shareI really liked it not sure how the general public will feel about having a Bisexual hero though..I imagine that may have put a few people off.
shareI thought the book was fantastic. My only gripe is that the ending was a bit Dr Who. That's not an entirely bad thing, I'm a big Dr Who fan, but it did seem a bit over the top in places. Having said that, I loved Lucifer Box and I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Ahh i love the Vesuvius Club! I went to a League of Gents signing the other day and got my copy signed by Mark. He signed it "love Lucifer Box." hehe.
