Since the league of gentlemen days. I like his work on Doctor Who, but I've never bothered with Sherlock. And I've only recently found out he's gay!
It's not really obvious to me, but my GF said it's obvious. She also says I have poor 'Gaydar' lol
Did anyone else know this? Or is it just me who can't tell?

I've been a huge fan of Mark's for years as well, I think he is incredible.
From a very basic perspective, I guess he isn't obviously gay from the point of view that he isn't stereotypically camp, but I think what is interesting about Mark is that he has always been totally open about his sexuality, it was never a big public "reveal" as he has never attempted to hide it, so I think it's just always seemed a part of who he is. I don't recall being overly surprised when I realised he was gay, he just seems so open and comfortable with it that its never seemed like a big taking point.
