I mean, as distasteful as his "ad libbed joke" was, I feel a bit bad for the dude. He's always been in JB's shadow and went through some dark shit in the early 2010s, and now he's getting universally reamed.

His own fault of course, but Trump seems to break some people's brains, and you have to wonder how much of that is simply media consumption and being stuck in certain echo chambers.

Speaking of which, it is very interesting how people on the right who claim to disavow cancel culture are cheering on his destruction, even going so far as to wanting him deported from Australia (ridiculous). The concepts of apology, mercy, and forgiveness all go out the window when someone is on the opposite side of the political spectrum.

It's called having principles, and if you disagree with the concept of cancel culture you shouldn't be engaging with it. The left thinks they can solve racism with more racism, and that's just as foolish as what you're suggesting.

You'd think humans would understand this by now.

The exact type of "principles" (heavy quotes) that lead to endless shit slinging, division, and null cooperation. Truly an enlightening ape-brained mindset. Thanks for that.

I'll take responsibility for trying to logically engage with a one-day-old account. Never a good idea.

The remark makes the guy seem like a jerk at first, but then upon reflection I have to admit that if I heard somebody like Schiff or Newsom had taken a round through the skull, I'd just be thinking "too bad, so sad".
