shareI used to love him in Tru Calling until I read his comments about the show just now. What a disappointment! Does he not know that show had quite the following? I guess this is another topic actors should not discuss...disliking previous work and politics...

shareStory I heard was that he was led to believe something other than what was fact was happening (re: similar to Ginger on Gilligan's Island, but he knew he wasn't supposed to be the lead), and the work environment was already hostile for other reasons before he decided to start acting like that.
From what I hear, this happened more often than you realize on some sets, but the modern media has made it more of an open secret, these days. Sometimes it becomes a known thing (Re: Roseanne) and sometimes, it's not revealed until later, esp if one actor goes on to something better.
