His career seems to be trending downward like Jack Blacks'
while i do find both funny & witty... jack took a few risky roles & has seemingly dropped off a bit. im starting to wonder if the same is happening to ZG. he seemed to have made a handful of good movies, tried to mix in a few 'oddball' jobs in there too. i just feel that maybe "they" (hollywood execs) pushed him down our throats too hard & too fast.
id like to see him in a 'lesser-toned' comedy and see how that works for him. something still funny, but a job that can show his range. (if he even has it)
i know he tried that one in the mental hospital. but i think it needs to be something like a 'dramedy' staring him. otherwise hes gonna get stuck doing the goofball roles. and anyone thats ever seen his stand-up or dvd's... thats not who he is, really. he is a very intelligent/smart comedian.
