Why is this mass-murdering creep stuck in like he is an actor?

I feel the same way, but I think Ted Bundy's legacy gets WAY TOO MUCH regurgitation by media companies. It was shitty enough that network television kept his legacy alive after his execution 30+ years ago but then cable movies and straigh-to-DVD movies were being made throughout the last 25 years. Now today, we have Netflix and other streaming entities keeping this creep's legacy alive and fresh, inspiring younger generations.

Well... he did manage to act normal enough not to get caught for quite some time... so he is probably a better actor than half those making movies in Hollywood.
