Much like sci-fi fans everywhere...I gave 'Hyperdrive' a chance...but by the end (the end, for me, being 3/4 of the way through Episode One) I was bored! The humour in this show is flatter than a pancake...and, is it just me...or is this the UGLIEST starship crew in the galaxy?

Agreed. This is a dogs dinner of a show and Nick is the only reason to watch it, or rather, WAS the only reason. Another favourite of mine Kevin Eldon needs to leave this piece of dreck before his otherwise excellent appearances in other shows are tarnished.

I HATED the first episode. I still do. But I gave this show a chance (a real chance, not a few minutes) and it has grown on me as many other shows I did not like at first (ie. Father Ted, Coupling, Red Dwarf) and now I love it.
This isn't sci fi, this is comedy, the crew are not there to look pretty, they're there to be funny. Jeffers is a legend, Vine is brilliant, York is freaking fabulous, Teal is a laugh and Henderson is a dork - but I love him.
Seriously, it's not a waste of Nick's talents. He's brilliant. The whole show is.
